Founded by Mr. Aart Van Wingerden in 1972, Van Wingerden Greenhouse Company is the industry leader. His son, Richard Van Wingerden, acquired the company in the early 1980’s. Richard has worked for the company almost from inception. VWGC continues to grow and offer a full design service and product line to all segments of the horticultural and agricultural industries. We have the flexibility to meet the special needs of each customer, including institutional and research facilities. We design our structures and systems to be cost-effective for growers yet provide the quality demanded by institutional markets. Over the past four years, VWGC has expanded into design and construction of institutional and retail greenhouses. Our outstanding design, manufacturing, and construction team puts an emphasis on providing a product and service line that is exceptional in the industry. VWGC has 27 full time employees at the manufacturing facility and approximately 30 construction workers under contract. We manufacture 40 or more acres of greenhouse structures each year.
